In the Name of the Republic

The Irish War of Independence saw many people abducted, executed and secretly buried. This was not the work of the British, but of the Irish Republican Army. In this new, two part TV3 series, archeologists search for the remains of victims secretly buried during the Irish War of Independence, while Professor EunanO’Halpin attempts to identify them and reveal their shocking stories.

Produced by Tile Films and directed by IFTA nominated director, Martin Dwan, Eanan was brought on board to write the theme as well as the score for this historic series. You can watch Mondays at 9pm or catch-up via TV3’s – 3player on their website.
